President

ICOPLAST is a non-profit organization formed in 2016 as a confederation of National Plastic Surgery Societies. ICOPLAST has almost 60 National Plastic Surgery society members, representing over 20,000 Plastic Surgeons from all over the world.

The Purpose of ICOPLAST is to educate, communicate, advocate and advance the specialty of plastic surgery globally, all in the widest sense of the word. The confederation will achieve this by facilitating communication and education among National Plastic Surgery Societies, as well as by all other means that are conducive to that purpose as a not-for-profit organization.

We are committed to continued education of plastic surgeons worldwide, and the ICOPLAST monthly Webinar program is freely available to members of all ICOPLAST National Societies.  We also encourage our members to visit the ICOPLAST Webinar video library which is also available to view on demand for our members.

The third ICOPLAST World Congress which took place in the beautiful city of Cape Town South Africa in September 2025, was an impressive educational and networking event, with almost 500 participants from more than 50 countries from all around the world.  We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our colleagues in the Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons of Southern Africa (APRASSA) for hosting a formidable three-day program with an outstanding faculty of experts in all plastic surgery specialties.
