The Sushruta Professorship in Plastic Surgery Awards – Applications now closed

The Sushruta Professorship in Plastic Surgery has been established through the generosity of the Guha family to recognize a distinguished scholar in Plastic Surgery. In Sushruta’s spirit, the awardees lifetime contribution should reflect outstanding contribution to the specialty through attributes of scholarship, leadership or humanitarian work in Plastic Surgery peer reviewed forums.

The application process has now closed and the Sushruta Lifetime Achievement Professorship Award presentation will be made at the ICOPLAST Congress in Cape Town in September 2025.

The successful applicant will receive a $1500 honorarium and up to $2000 towards travel expenses and the opportunity to present original research or new methods of practice at the ICOPLAST World Congress
